Create Web Hosting Contact / Sub-Account

To create a new contact / sub-account on mywebhostingaccount.com:

  • Login to your account at mywebhostingaccount.com.
  • Click on "Hello [Your Name] - Contacts / Sub-Accounts".
  • Fill out the contact information.
  • You can choose whether to activate the contact as a sub-account. To do this, under "Activate Sub-Account" click "Tick to configure as a sub-account with client area access", which will bring up account permissions you can set for the sub-account.
  • Choose the "Email Preferences".
  • Click "Save Changes".
Creating a contact or sub-account this way will give access to certain areas of the account on mywebhostingaccount.com, or be a way to have web hosting account emails sent to an additional email address.

You can grant a sub-account access to the cPanel this way, but it will be the same cPanel as the main account, containing all of the cPanel domains. For other options on creating sub-accounts or giving other limited / specific access to the web hosting, please see the article "Options For Additional Web Hosting Users (Contacts / Sub-Accounts, cPanel Users, Affiliate Accounts)".
